The e-rope brand of current-conducting low-voltage ropes combine the mechanical advantages of steel cables with an efficient power supply. They are made of galvanized steel or stainless steel with copper wires. They are available in various rope constructions, including coated. We supply our e-rope brand wire ropes as bulk wire rope or ready to install / assembled. They are also compatible with all cable grippers in our range. They meet both criteria at the same time in applications where the load capacity of a steel cable and a power cable are required.
As a development supplier for customized rope solutions in the fine wire rope sector, we supply our customers worldwide with high-quality and durable products. In our rope factory at the company headquarters in Suessen, we produce fine ropes in the diameter range from 0.09 - 8.00 mm.
When effective current transmission and mechanical properties are required, our current-carrying ropes are the right solution. Due to the high breaking load compared to conventional cables, mechanical forces can be absorbed and tensile forces can be transmitted. The high flexibility results in bending fatigue resistance, e.g. for pulleys. With a high conductivity, they are suitable as low-voltage cables for the transmission of protective extra-low voltage and for data transmission. Our e-rope product line ropes have low resistivity, which allows two applications to be realized simultaneously. They replace the traditional electric wire and allow data transmission by means of 2-wire technology. The wire ropes of the e-rope brand are robust and have the mechanical properties of a conventional wire rope. Mechanical forces can be absorbed and transmitted.
Wire ropes of the e-rope brand are steel cable with power cable in one.
Due to the high conductivity of the material, the ropes of the e-rope product line reliably transmit protective extra-low voltage. They replace the conventional electrical cable, e.g. for suspended illuminated billboards or suspended lamps. The high breaking strength of the wire rope enables it to absorb and transmit mechanical tensile forces. At the same time, e-rope ropes are flexible and resistant to bending. For example, they can also be guided over pulleys. The higher mechanical load capacity that a steel cable has is retained and is thus higher than that of a conventional power cable.
When reliable data transmission and mechanical properties are required, e-rope current-carrying ropes are the right solution. They have a high breaking strength and high flexibility. Mechanical tensile forces are transmitted. For example, when lifting or holding loads, the data can flow over the wire rope as with a conventional data cable, and costly cable drums or cable reels can be eliminated. Even with conventional network protocols, the data can flow through the current-conducting ropes of the e-rope product series, e.g. via a 2-wire connection.
